Using the School Leader Visibility settings, the District Leader/district administrator can choose whether School Leaders/school administrators have access to aggregated data for:
- the district overall on the District Profile and
- for schools other than their own on the Our Schools dashboard.
Any changes that you make can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Note: Even if School Leaders are allowed to see aggregated data, they can only see student-level data for the schools assigned to them, not for other schools.
Who can do this?
Renaissance Analytics Administrators
Going to the School Leader Visibility Settings
- As the administrator, select your user icon in the top right corner of any Renaissance Analytics page; then, select Renaissance Analytics Settings.
- The School Leader Visibility tab will be selected by default. If you are on another tab, select School Leader Visibility.
Changing Settings
Under District Profile, click the toggle to choose whether to hide or show the District Profile for school leaders. Show is the default. When you make the change, you will see a message in the bottom right corner of the page, telling you that your change has been saved and that it will take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Under Our Schools, select one of the options on the right to choose whether School Leaders will see data for all schools or only their assigned schools on the Our Schools dashboard. As when you change the District Profile setting, when you choose a different setting, you will see a message in the bottom right corner of the page, telling you that your change has been saved and that it will take up to 24 hours to take effect.
